The video is cute but Jacob seems like the missing member of the group Mindless Behavior. You can see and hear that Diggy is maturing in his look and voice. Im lovin the little comic book theme but im soo not feelin' the skinny jeans, never been a fan of those anyway. I can tell that this video will appeal to young tween girls but are the younger girls in this music video just video hoes in the making?

(New Music) Jennifer Hudson - 'Where You At'
Jennifer Hudson premeired her debut single 'Where You At' from her upcoming sophmore alben "I Remember Me" set for a March 22nd release. The song written by R. Kelly was delevired in a very powerful way as only J. Hud can do. Singers Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo also contributed to this album which just goes to show that the 12 track album will have a very soulful feel to it. Not even mentioning that 1 or those 12 tracks will be a gospel record. I have been looking forwars to a sophmore album by her and feel that it will be very soulful and emotional.

The Black Eyed Peas set to perform at the superbowl
Now, to all of my non-football fans, the world known B.E.P. (Black Eyed Peas) are set to perform at the 2011 superbowl (XLV) during the halftime show. As far as the songs being performed, I am still unsure at the moment. However B.E.P. member apl.de.ap says “It’s just going to be Peas. Lots of energy and a lot of our songs you always hear at the sporting events. So at least in that way, we can tell what kind of music they like" . The only hint that we have so far is that it is a club song and is not "My Humps".

(Artist Spotlight) J Staffz
Jabari Stafford Bowry. Born September 24 1985, “J Staffz” comes from his first and middle names. “I was named after my Uncle Stafford who died in a car accident when he was 19. I never met him. My mom always said he was a genius.” Jabari started taking piano lessons at 7 years old through RCM for 8 years. At 10, he went to St. Kitts and Nevis and learned how to play the steel drums. “I’ve learned all the songs on the single tenor, double tenor and bass in one-two months”. J Staffz was the drummer in his high-school band and took lessons for that as well. “I started making my own remixes by putting vocals from one song on a beat from another song. Before I knew it, I was making my own beats for the vocals.” After barely getting though high school and dropping out of college J Staffz began networking, competing in beat battles and showing his beats to whoever would listen. “I use to give a lot of artists beats for free if they put them in the right hands or on the radio.” J Staffz then attended Metalworks Institute to learn Audio Engineering & Recording. “After about 4 months in Metalworks, he already had a few songs on rotation in Toronto. “I don’t really have as much of an interest in engineering as I thought so I stopped and focused on producing.” Since then, J Staffz has worked with over 150 artists. J Staffz also works as an in-house producer for Silverbridge Media, composing music for Viacom (VH1, MTV, HBO, BET, Discovery Channel, Nickelodeon and Paramount).

(New Album) Marsha Ambrosius - "Late Nights & Early Mornings"
Here are 5 must hear tracks from Marsha's (formerly of Floetry) upcoming solo debut album "Late Nights & Early Mornings" set for a March 1st release.
“With You”Co-written by Alicia Keys, this song sets a romantic tone at the album’s onset, cruising along with paced percussion and a delicate piano line. On the languid tune, Marsha opens up about longing to meet up with her man, her voice quivering in anticipation. “Feels like I’ve been waiting for a lifetime/ To find someone that I’ll want as much as I want you/ Right now,” she wails.
“Late Nights & Early Mornings”
The album’s title track, produced by Rich Harrison (Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” Amerie’s “1 Thing”), is surprisingly restrained given the beatsmith’s frenzied production past. Easing into the song with a disorienting melody, the mid-tempo ballad features off-kilter synths and gurgling drums, with Marsha crowing about getting some extra loving in the heat of the night. “It’s going to be a late night ’til the early morning/ When I come on home/ It’s going to be that good love, gave you what you wanted/ I want to do it all night long,” she teases on the Prince-inspired tune.
“Lose Myself”
Lauryn Hill wrote and recorded this as an energetic inclusion on the soundtrack to the 2007 animated feature Surf’s Up, and Marsha completely reconfigures the track to suit an R&B template. Cutting away the heavy percussion and synthesizers of Ms. Hill’s version, Marsh puts her heart into this neo-soul remake, driven by languid percussion, a light organ, and thick vocal harmonies.
“Tears”
Marsha gets into the Motown swing on “Tears,” where she sings the blues about regretting her decision to dump her boyfriend. “First of all let me say that I missed you baby, for real/ I’m worse off than I’ve been, I feel so much pain/ Cried so many tears,” sings Marsha, her voice quavering against echoing harmonies as she begs her man to come back into her arms.
“Butterflies (Remix)”
Marsha originally penned this track for Michael Jackson’s 2001 album Invincible, later rerecording it with her group Floetry for 2002’s Floetic. Almost a decade later, she revamps the innocent ballad with the addition of popping drums, blurting horns, and glib synthesizers. The upbeat remix also features rerecorded vocals and an alternate ending, closing the album with a dash of something familiar for those who have kept up with this soaring songbird.
