Now, I know I blasted this song as a single and I completely stand by that but it is good as a track for a commercial. That's about it.

Christina Aguilera talks about her royal superbowl screw-up



 

Now it was expected that she would make some type of statement after screwing up the national anthem at the beginning of Superbowl XLV.

Her statement reads “I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place,” stated the pop singer. “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s anthem still came through.”

Take it however you want to but she did issue a statement addressing the issue.

Now I love me some Christina but yes she did crack a lil in that last note. Now is it just me or did she substitute a few words in the national anthem?



The Black Eyed Peas set to perform at the superbowl



 

Now, to all of my non-football fans, the world known B.E.P. (Black Eyed Peas) are set to perform at the 2011 superbowl (XLV) during the halftime show. As far as the songs being performed, I am still unsure at the moment. However B.E.P. member apl.de.ap says “It’s just going to be Peas. Lots of energy and a lot of our songs you always hear at the sporting events. So at least in that way, we can tell what kind of music they like" . The only hint that we have so far is that it is a club song and is not "My Humps".
