Kim gets on this track and reminds all of who the Queen B is. Yeah the track is kinda short but she makes sure that everyone knows who she is. Personally, I like her hard flows and I like the track.
To keep this review fairly short, I will simply say that this is a very pop and club influenced EP. Now, if you are in to that type of music than I will also say that it is a good collection of uptempo club music type of remixes. This EP is available on iTunes now.
In addition to naming the premiere date of the music video for 'Where Have You Been' which is Monday April 30th at 9am. We are also granted a final look behind the scenes of the music video below:
Even with the uptempo beat of this song it still crosses me as so-so. The song just does not fully amaze me. It kinda crosses me as bland. I was more impressed by Dawn's and Aubrey's debut solo singles. The song is not bad, but it just does not give me excited feeling. Nor does it make me want to replay the song.
This song is not bad but on the other hand, it just seems like he is straying away from his R&B roots to cater to euro-pop music. Once again, it is a good song but I really think that his new euro-pop music sound will scare off some of his R&B and original fans.
This track has a real heavy bass type of beat. I honestly feel like this is a good lead type of single with Brandy (or Bran'Nu) and Chris dropping some flows. Brandy is still mainly singing though. I really like this song with it's club friendly feel to it. This will be a good spring/summer song.
Exactly 10 years ago today we lost Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes who was 1/3 of the very well known female group TLC. Her death came as a complete shock to many, just as Aaliyah's did a few months earlier in 2001. My impression of Lisa was that she was a very kind and warmhearted person. Her second (official) and first album was the posthumuous "Eye Legacy" which was released in 2009. I bought the album back in 2009 and the album was on point. If you do not have it then I suggest that you buy it.
So after her little rant and deleting her Twitter account a few days ago Nicki has returned. This is really no surprise to me that she came back. She had 11 million followers (myself included) and since he return she already has well over 100,000 followers.
Ok, now doesn't this seem like a move that Trey Songz pulled going into his third album? The ples side to this is that the well known R&B singer was not serious about this. He has been slightly annoyed by how his music has been overlooked by the new sexier (more often than not inappropriate) and more pop infused music.
Aubrey drops another single and this track is very good. This is clearly a pop infused track and her vocals are on point. I overall like this track and it somewhat reminds me of pop music from the early 2000's.
Ok, so I learn that this album gets pushed back roughly 2 weeks prior to the previous release date of May 8th. Now the new release date is July 3rd, about 2 months after the original date that the album was supposed to be released.
