(New Music) Melanie Amaro - 'Respect'

Respect

The X Factor winner drops her first single and I really do not like it. It might have something to do with the fack that I love older music and am really not a fan of huge changes on a remake. Now the younger kids might like the whole popish uptempo dance beat, but I grew up on the originals from the 60's and 70's (No, im not old. Not even 30). I just feel that this song should not be radically changed.

Marcus Canty is a newly signed artist on Epic Records

I am really glad to learn that Marcus has also been signed to Epic Records by his former "X Factor" mentor L.A. Reid. This is really big news because Marcus was one of my favs on "X Factor" and he lives about 15 minutes away from me. Much success to all 3 fellas (Marcus Canty, Chris Rene and Astro) that were formerly on "X Factor" and newly signed to Epic Records.

Chris Rene is a newly signed artist on Epic Records

I see that L.A. Reid has been busy, now signing Chris Rene in addition to Astro on Epic Records. I am looking forward to seeing how both of them do.

Astro is a newly signed artist on Epic Records

Astro

I am happy to announce that Astro has been signed and I kinda figured that he would get signed if he ever lost on X Factor. So yea, my fav act on X Factor in the U.S. during it's first season has been signed.

(Video) Mary J Blige performs 'Need Someone' on X Factor

(Video) Rachel Crow's emotional elimination on "X Factor (U.S.)"

Now I missed "X Factor" this week and last week but Rachel's elimination was a really emotional one. Even being one of the judges, Nicole Scherzinger was at a loss for words and started getting teary eyed herself.

Astro apologizes for last weeks stunt on "X Factor"

Now I am a fan of the 15 year old very talented rapper on X Factor in the U.S. and I have heard that he was arrogant and cocky which I saw first hand last week. I really want to see the dude win X Factor but not with the attitude he displayed last week. After the stunt he pulled with his attitude I slightly lost some respect for dude. Hopefully that will change this week. As often as I have disagreed with Simon's views in the past, I was with him 100% last week. Astro is really talented but he needs to remaib humble.
