My personal top 10 music video's of 2010

1.   Various Artists – “We Are The World 25 For Haiti”

This video was for a good cause and pulled together artist of epic perpurtions. Also the fact that it was a remake of the very well known "We Are The World" that was recorded 25 years earlier.

2.   Lady Gaga Ft. Beyonce – “Telephone”

This music video is very well known an is a continuation from the previous video for "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga where she kills her now ex boyfriend. This video is on MJ status as far as length and it's movie type setup in addition to the storyline.

3.   Keri Hilson – “Pretty Girl Rock”

I love this video where Keri pays homage to Josephine Baker (30's), Dorthy Dandrige (40's), Patty Andrews (from the Andrews Sisters)(50's), Diana Ross (from The Supremes)(60's), Donna Summer (70's), Janet Jackson (80's), and T-boz (from TLC)(90's)

4.   Dirty Money Ft. Rick Ross & Nicki Minaj – “Hello Good Morning (Remix)”

This video and track are things that just make you get out of your seat.

5.   Monica - "Love All Over Me"

In this video Monica poses the age old question of: which one do you choose? I love the storyline to the video.

6.   Chris Brown & Tyga Ft. Kevin McCall – “Deuces”

After the whole mess with the Rihanna situation and a flopped album "Grafitti" Chris teams up with Tyga for the very popular mixtape "Fan Of A Fan" and spawned this chart topping single.

7.   Christina Aguilera = “Not Myself Tonight”

I love how Christina came out with this album without a care in the world. She was very racy in the video which I love of her.

8.   Brutha – “Can’t Get Enough (Sexaholic)”

Brutha has yet to drop their Sophmore album "Vacancy" but have released 2 music video's. I love how they are going with the more mature look now. This video also has some alledged guest appearences from Dr. Drew and Tiger Woods.

9.   Katy Perry – “Firework"

More than anything else I can honestly say that I love the message that the video is trying to convey.

10. Kelly Rowland – “Forever In A Day”

Kelly looked so damned happy in this video. I loved it because it didn't seem faked or forced. Watching the video you can tell that she is genuinely happy.

(Album Review) Chrisette Michele - "Let Freedom Reign"

Let Freedom Reign cover
This is a very impressive album from the R&B underdog Chrisette Michele. There are alot of impressive tracks on this album, and I hear several possible singles. Overall, this is a very good album and is also a must buy.

(Album Review) Eric Benét - "Lost In Time"

This is yet another smooth album by Eric Benét who never seems to disappoint when he releases an album. He sticks to his R&B roots with guest appearences by: Faith Evans, Eddie Levert, Chrisette Michele, Ledisi and a song with his daughter India Benét. This album is hands down a must buy.

(Album Review) Jazmine Sullivan - "Love Me Back"

Love Me Back cover

This is yet another true R&B album from singer/ songwriter Jazmine Sullivan. Her highly anticiparted sophmore album continues to keep her true R&B fanbase satisfied. I also LOVE the final track, the reggae flavored "Luv Back". Overall I will say that the album is a hands down must buy for any and all true R&B fans.

(Album Review) The Black Eyed Peas - "The Beginning"

The Beginning (Deluxe Edition) cover

Im sittin here listening to this album and im all honesty im really not feeling it. In the past the B.E.P. have put out songs that I loved as singles. However, I do not like a complete album by them.. They always seem to drop very good singles but this album as a whole really sucks in my opinion. It is not worth the money.

(Album Review) T.I. - "No Mercy"

No Mercy cover

This album, although it has alot of features is still a good album. I can honestly say that I was surprised by some of the features such as Rocko (Monica's ex-fiance and the father of her children). Now I am not saying that I am feeling every single track on the album but for the true Hip-Hop fans this album is a must buy.

(Album Review) Ciara - "Bssic Instinct"

Basic Instinct cover

Off the break I was not feeling the 1st track. It just seems to me that she is no longer putting the same effort into her albums. The promotion for this album was horrible. On the real I actually fell asleep before I was even halfway through this album which is why I had to listen to it twice. Overall the album is not bad but it is typical Ciara with the high number of dance tracks. There wasn't really any track on the album that grabbed my attention. The album really comes across as a bore to me.
