Could Chris Brown be working with Bruno Mars?

Chris Brown and Bruno Mars

While his Twitter feud with former B2K member Raz-B may be making all the headlines, Chris Brown is turning his attention back to music. The R&B hunk is planning an epic collaboration with seven-time Grammy nominee Bruno Mars.

“ME and BRUNO MARS are doing an incredible record soon… (like 2011 ELVIS and MICHAEL) gonna be a movie!!!!” tweeted an excited Breezy.

It is currently unknown where the song will end up, but it will likely appear on Brown’s fourth album F.A.M.E., due next year. Meanwhile, he plans to release his new single “Look at Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day.

With 2011 only a day away, he also shared his New Year’s resolution with his followers. “Since new years is coming up my resolution is to shut the hell up and and vomit on every track I touch!!! #tiredofplayinggames!!!”

Chris Brown vs. Raz B on twitter

So much for anger management ... Chris Brown just unloaded an offensive, scathing Twitter attack on a former member of the R&B group B2K ... and it had to do with comments about Rihanna.

Chris Brown Twitter

Brown got into it with singer Raz B -- after Raz tweeted Brown, "Im just sittin here Thinking how can n**gas like [Eric Benet] and [Chris Brown] disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna."

Brown immediately lashed back -- writing, "n**ga you want attention! Grow up n**ga!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy."

Brown is clearly referring to allegations Raz had made a while back -- in which he clamis he was molested by his band's male manager.

Brown continued his attack -- and then tried to explain himself ... tweeting, "
I'm not homophobic! He's just disrespectful!!!"

As we previously reported, Brown had recently posted a photo of his diploma from his court-ordered anger management program.

Brown is still on probation for another couple of years.

(New Music) Alicia Keys Ft. Eve - 'Speechless'

Speechless

Here is a new track by Alicia since the birth of her and Swizz Beatz son Egypt. This song overall is very good and smooth as she sings about her son. Im really feelin this track, however it is NOT a single and there is no album in production says Alicia via twitter.

(PEOPLE.com) -- Aretha Franklin is doing well after undergoing a mystery surgery on Thursday.

"The surgery was highly successful," Franklin, 68, said in a statement. "God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country. God bless you all for your prayers!"

She underwent the procedure about 5 a.m. Thursday at a Detroit hospital.

The reason for the surgery was not revealed. In November, her publicist announced that she had canceled all her performances through May.

(New Music Video) Miguel - 'Sure Thing'

(New Music) Jojo - 'Hollywood'

JoJo

Here is a leaked song from her recent studio sessions. The song will clearly not be on the third album by Jojo. However, her third album is due for an early 2011 release. I do really like the song because it comes across as very soothing in regards to the lyrics and the piano laced melody. To keep everyone calm until then take a lisren to 'Hollywood'.

(New Music) Foxy Brown Ft. Easy Moe Bee & Bam - 'Let Em Know'

(New Music) Trey Songz Ft. Fabolous - 'May I (Remix)'

Fabolous and Trey Songz

On this track, Trey raps alongside Fabolous on the remix to 'May I'. Trey's rap game never really grabbed my attention and this track further proves it. The track overall was just lackluster to me.
Listen to 'May I (Remix)' below:

(New Music) Rick Ross Ft. Wiz Khalifa - 'Retrosuperfuture'

Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa

Im feelin the newest track from Ricky Rozay's newest mixtape "Ashes To Ashes" (due to be released on Dec 24th). If you like Rick Ross and / or Wiz Khalifa then this song is a must listen.

(New Music) T-Pain - 'Merry Christmas'

Merry Christmas

This is a new track from his upcoming mixtape "prEVOLVEr The Mixtape". T-Pain is giving someone the chance to get on the song with him tho. Submit your verses to TPainFeatYou2@gmail.com for consideration. There really is no nice way to say this. This song is horrible in my opinion because every track that he does is not in need of autotune. I just feel like the autotune was not necessary at all.

Listen to 'Merry Christmas' below:

(New Music) Teairra Mari - 'Stay'

Teairra Mari

The highly underrated R&B songstress drops another track from her upcoming mixtape "The Night Before X-mas" due for a Christmas Eve release. This track can be very easily defined as a club banger. As the song play's it kinda takes me back to a time when I was in the club often.

Listen to 'Stay' below:

(New Music) El Debarge Ft. 50 cent & Lloyd - 'Let's Get It In (Remix)'

Switch Up the Format

I am really not feelin this song. It just doesnt cross me as a hit record. 50 cent and Lloyd? Na, not good choices for features on this song. He appears to be catering to the younger crowd and ignoring his true fans. Overall, I am not feelin this track.

(New Music Video) El Debarge Ft. Faith Evans - 'Lay With You'

(New Music) Keri Hilson Ft. Chris Brown - 'One Night Stand'

Keri Hilson and Chris Brown

This song has a very sexual beat and lyrics. This is the type of song that will lead to clothes being taken off and action starting. Not much more to say about the track other than the fact that I like it and it's sexual undertones.

(New Music) Nicki Minaj Ft. Busta Rhymes - 'Romans Revenge (Remix)'

Nicki Minaj and Busta Rhymes

Ok, besides the fact that I really can't stand Busta after going to his album release for "The Big Bang" a few years ago I can honestly say this remix is hot. Not really a suprise after Lil Kim released "Black Friday" on black friday about Nicki. Both Nicki and Busta came real hard on this track and im lovin it.

My personal top 10 music video's of 2010

1.   Various Artists – “We Are The World 25 For Haiti”

This video was for a good cause and pulled together artist of epic perpurtions. Also the fact that it was a remake of the very well known "We Are The World" that was recorded 25 years earlier.

2.   Lady Gaga Ft. Beyonce – “Telephone”

This music video is very well known an is a continuation from the previous video for "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga where she kills her now ex boyfriend. This video is on MJ status as far as length and it's movie type setup in addition to the storyline.

3.   Keri Hilson – “Pretty Girl Rock”

I love this video where Keri pays homage to Josephine Baker (30's), Dorthy Dandrige (40's), Patty Andrews (from the Andrews Sisters)(50's), Diana Ross (from The Supremes)(60's), Donna Summer (70's), Janet Jackson (80's), and T-boz (from TLC)(90's)

4.   Dirty Money Ft. Rick Ross & Nicki Minaj – “Hello Good Morning (Remix)”

This video and track are things that just make you get out of your seat.

5.   Monica - "Love All Over Me"

In this video Monica poses the age old question of: which one do you choose? I love the storyline to the video.

6.   Chris Brown & Tyga Ft. Kevin McCall – “Deuces”

After the whole mess with the Rihanna situation and a flopped album "Grafitti" Chris teams up with Tyga for the very popular mixtape "Fan Of A Fan" and spawned this chart topping single.

7.   Christina Aguilera = “Not Myself Tonight”

I love how Christina came out with this album without a care in the world. She was very racy in the video which I love of her.

8.   Brutha – “Can’t Get Enough (Sexaholic)”

Brutha has yet to drop their Sophmore album "Vacancy" but have released 2 music video's. I love how they are going with the more mature look now. This video also has some alledged guest appearences from Dr. Drew and Tiger Woods.

9.   Katy Perry – “Firework"

More than anything else I can honestly say that I love the message that the video is trying to convey.

10. Kelly Rowland – “Forever In A Day”

Kelly looked so damned happy in this video. I loved it because it didn't seem faked or forced. Watching the video you can tell that she is genuinely happy.

(Album Review) Chrisette Michele - "Let Freedom Reign"

Let Freedom Reign cover
This is a very impressive album from the R&B underdog Chrisette Michele. There are alot of impressive tracks on this album, and I hear several possible singles. Overall, this is a very good album and is also a must buy.

(Album Review) Eric Benét - "Lost In Time"

This is yet another smooth album by Eric BenĂ©t who never seems to disappoint when he releases an album. He sticks to his R&B roots with guest appearences by: Faith Evans, Eddie Levert, Chrisette Michele, Ledisi and a song with his daughter India BenĂ©t. This album is hands down a must buy.

(Album Review) Jazmine Sullivan - "Love Me Back"

Love Me Back cover

This is yet another true R&B album from singer/ songwriter Jazmine Sullivan. Her highly anticiparted sophmore album continues to keep her true R&B fanbase satisfied. I also LOVE the final track, the reggae flavored "Luv Back". Overall I will say that the album is a hands down must buy for any and all true R&B fans.

(Album Review) The Black Eyed Peas - "The Beginning"

The Beginning (Deluxe Edition) cover

Im sittin here listening to this album and im all honesty im really not feeling it. In the past the B.E.P. have put out songs that I loved as singles. However, I do not like a complete album by them.. They always seem to drop very good singles but this album as a whole really sucks in my opinion. It is not worth the money.

(Album Review) T.I. - "No Mercy"

No Mercy cover

This album, although it has alot of features is still a good album. I can honestly say that I was surprised by some of the features such as Rocko (Monica's ex-fiance and the father of her children). Now I am not saying that I am feeling every single track on the album but for the true Hip-Hop fans this album is a must buy.

(Album Review) Ciara - "Bssic Instinct"

Basic Instinct cover

Off the break I was not feeling the 1st track. It just seems to me that she is no longer putting the same effort into her albums. The promotion for this album was horrible. On the real I actually fell asleep before I was even halfway through this album which is why I had to listen to it twice. Overall the album is not bad but it is typical Ciara with the high number of dance tracks. There wasn't really any track on the album that grabbed my attention. The album really comes across as a bore to me.

(Alum Review) R. Kelly - "Love Letter"

Love Letter cover
This is another true R&B album as R. Kelly always sticks to. This album has an old school feel to it circa 50's and 60's with a lil 70's in there also. All in all it is a good chill throback album. As a person who loves music from that era, I can honestly say that it is a real chill and laidback album. This is a must buy.

(Album Review) Dirty Money - "Last Train To Paris"

Last Train to Paris cover

I really like this album, however as much as I like guest appearances this was a little bit overkill. There are several tracks that I love on the album but to me I want to see an artist or group that is able to carry their own without guest appearances on over 80% or an album. I still say that it is a good album to buy and really has no major dissappointments. Can't say I see a long term future for them or any group under Bad Boy Records tho.

(Album Review) Tank - "Now Or Never"

Now Or Never cover

Here is another classic R&B album. Overall I honestly can say that this album did not fully grab my attention. Im just not feelin it, good project tho. It just feels like it is missing something and I don't know what it is. At the same time, I gotta congratulate him for repping male R&B.

(Album Review) Kandi - "Kandi Koated"

Kandi Koated cover

This album is real smooth and chill. I love her smooth vocals over these mello beats. It has a real calming effect and is the type of album you can play while you have company over or even while you are cleaning the house. Yea, it is just that smooth. Mos def a must buy.

(Album Review) Trey Songz - #LEMMEHOLDATBEAT (Mixtape)

Trey Songz – #Lemmeholdatbeat [Mixtape Cover Artwork]

In all honesty it was very clear that this was a mixtape by the severe lack of effort put towards it. There are a few tracks that I like but the mixtape overall is a hot mess. This might be something that grows on me but I doubt it. Feel free to preview and or download the mixtape below.

(New Music) Dirty Money Ft. Trey Songz - 'Your Love'

Diddy-Dirty Money

I just finished listening to the song and I like it. This is mos def a wintertime club banger, not too rough but not too light either. In all honesty it does sound like Trey Songz Ft. Dirty Money but whatever. This is a hot track that makes you wanna wind it back on the dance floor.

Aretha Franklin Has Cancer

Aretha Franklin_20100803215810_JPG

Fox 2 News in Detroit has learned that the "Queen of Soul" has cancer. A relative of Aretha Franklin tells reporter Al Allen that the icon has cancer. Another relative says the family is very concerned.

At this time Franklin's family says she is doing "OK", but they are asking for the continued prayers and thoughts from the community. Add your sentiments in the comment module below>

Pop Crunch.com published an article today citing a report by The National Enquirer that Franklin has incurable pancreatic cancer. Fox 2 could not confirm the type of cancer that Franklin has. Last week she underwent surgery for a mystery illness.

The surgery was deemed a success, but it came under mysterious circumstances. A few weeks ago Franklin canceled all concerts through May 2011 due to "medical reasons."

This is a statement released by Franklin following her surgery last Thursday (December 2nd):

The surgery was highly successful. God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country. God bless you all for your prayers! -- The Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin

(Album Review) Michael Jackson - "Michael"

Michael

So, I just finished listening to the entire album via my post regarding the album preview. I grew up on MJ and always liked his music and always will. Listening to the album you can tell these were songs from 10 - 30 years ago and any MJ stan can probibly tell you which album these songs were supossed to be on. There are 3 features on this album and the only one I found as unnecessary was 50 cent. Overall, I like the album although the vocals on a few of the tracks are questionable at best. I still have every intention of buying the album. Overall it is still a good collection of previously unreleased music by MJ.

(Album Preview) Michael Jackson - "Michael"

(New Music) Swizz Beatz Ft. Eve - 'Hot Steppa #1'

I am very happy to hear Eve's return to the mic but this track and Swizz are easily forgetable. Hate to put it like this but the track just does not stand out to me. It might get SOME attention simply because Eve is on it. Then again it might not.

(New Music Video) Keri Hilson Ft. Rick Ross - 'The Way You Love Me'

I could have sworn that I posted this video review before but I can no longer find it. I can say that I like the features in the video and the storyline behind it. However the dancing in the video and the song itself comes across as a lil slutty. It amazes me how she went from the very classy "Pretty Girl Rock' music video to this. I love keri but the song is too much and the video is substandard at best.

Take a look at 'The Way You Love Me' below:

(New Music) Michael Jackson Ft. Akon - Hold My Hand

Hold My Hand

MJ and Akon team up again on this track that was recorded in 2007 and leaked as an incomplete version in 2008 after the release of the 2008 version of 'Wanna Be Startin' Something 2008'. As I listen to this song, I in no way doubt that this is Michael. This is the second track released and the first official single from Michael's album set to be released on December 14th. I honestly see this album going several times platinum and possibly even diamond.
